During this tour you will visit Lake Sevan, The Blue Pearl of Armenia and the medieval monastery Sevanavank dating back to 9 century AD. It has to be an island previously which has become a peninsula nowadays. It will impress you with its unique architecture typical to medieval period of Armenia. Besides visiting the monastery, you can also admire the breathtaking view which opens from the peninsula.
In Sevan, you can taste endemic fish such as trout (ishkhan) and sig, famous for their delicious tastes.
Next stop is Dilijan which is usually called Armenian Switzerland or Little Switzerland by the locals. It's also a cultural place where there are many craftsmen. It's a place full of breathtaking forests famous as a resting zone.
In Dilijan you will get acquainted with Armenian cultural heritage as well by visiting Haghpat and Goshavank medieval monastic complexes, the hidden gems of Armenia.
